No one is stealing your information. The application allows you to share contacts, applications and bookmarks through a Qr code. This is why contact permissions are needed.

If your device is not scanning, try the bug workarounds in the app settings first. Enable them all, then try disabling them one by one, to determine which one is needed. If that didn’t help, try clearing the app’s (phone’s) cache and settings from Android Settings.

– the type of device (mobile, tablet, model)
– a basic description of what is not working: does it crash? it doesn’t scan? does it behave weird?
– you confirm that you have tried the advice given above
– send a screenshot of the log (log file) which appears when the application is launched
